SEEK has over 25million visits to our site every month – this gives an indication how many people have a relationship with Seek. Twitter has become an increasingly important channel to build on the relationship Seek have with candidates and hirers, outside of directly placing a job or searching for one. Through Twitter Seek are able to provide advice on how to navigate career change, nail the job search, and source the perfect talent as well as trouble shoot any problems with a real-time, real-relationship approach.

Jillian Bowen – Content and Social Media Manager – CPA Australia

Content and social media at CPA Australia is all about putting the audience first. They create what they want, and deliver it via the social media channels they want to see it in. They don’t lead with their brand, but lead with what their audience wants to hear about so they build a genuine, two-way relationship. It’s the quality of that engagement not a heavy handed selling approach that delivers on CPA Australia’s short and long term business goals.

Jon Tjhia – Online Manager – The Wheeler Centre

Alongside a content-rich website, the Wheeler Centre actively maintains presences and projects on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tumblr – to spread word of our 200+ events each year, the wealth of written and video content they publish alongside them, and to provide a space for the books, writing and ideas community to come together. Twitter is that community’s sharehouse – if you like, the kitchen table where we keep company with the discussions and viewpoints that keep us connected to public conversation. Rather than using social channels purely to draw people to events, The Wheeler Centre see their events as merely focal points for ongoing, ever-unfurling inquiry and argument.
